Mr. Gehegan is an Executive Member of American Patriot Holdings LLC. (APH) and President, CEO of Marine Transportation Consultants (MTC), Marine Equipment Leasing (MEL) and Marine Inland Transportation (MIT). MTC is involved in the construction and chartering of U.S. Jones Act vessels, having built twenty (20) 30,000 barrel inland petroleum barges and through subsidiaries Marine Equipment Leasing and Marine Inland Transport, the barges are chartered on long term contracts.
Mr. Gehegan began his career in 1967, after graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he received his Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree, and a commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy. He served as an engineering officer on various U.S. merchant vessels, raising his license to First Engineer Steam and Motor, any horsepower, before coming ashore to work as a ship superintendent for Amoco International Oil Company in 1972. Salvatore Litrico |
Mr. Litrico has been named CEO for APCT, and is an member of the APH Executive Management Team. Mr. Litrico graduated from the State University of New York Maritime College in 1977, with Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation Management, a commission as Ensign in U.S. Navy, a license as Third Mate Oceans Unlimited Tonnage, and a Master’s license for 1600 GRT Vessels.
Upon graduation, he sailed in various licensed deck officer positions, including Master, with American Export Lines and Interstate & Ocean Transport until 1983, when he moved to Tampa to join the shore staff of Maritrans as Port Captain. Robert W. McCormack |
Mr. McCormack is an Executive Member of American Patriot Holdings LLC. Mr. McCormack started his maritime career upon his 1974 graduation from the State University of New York Maritime College with Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Transportation Management, a commission as Ensign in the U.S. Navy, a license as Third Mate Oceans Unlimited Tonnage, and a Master’s license for 1600 GRT Vessels.
Upon graduation, he joined the Exxon Company USA Marine Department and sailed in various licensed deck officer positions until 1978, when he moved ashore in Houston. He promoted through professional, management and executive positions in Human Resources, Operations, Business Analysis, and Commercial. Mr. McCormack moved to Exxon International Co. in Florham Park New Jersey in 1991 as Commercial Operations Manager in Exxon Corporation’s foreign flag tanker business. Read More... |
